We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Tax Supervisor / Tax Manager to join our dynamic and fast-growing team. This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while providing top-notch services to our global clientele in the finance industry.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in tax, with a focus on international tax, tax preparation, and tax research. As a Tax Supervisor / Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a wide range of tax-related tasks, ensuring compliance with international tax laws and regulations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned tax professional to demonstrate their expertise in an exciting, fast-paced, and ever-evolving industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage tax planning, preparation, and compliance for international clients.
2. Conduct thorough tax research to ensure compliance with international tax laws and regulations.
3. Prepare and review tax forms such as 5471, 5472, 8621, 8992, 8993, 8858, 8865, 8832, 8833, 926, 1042, 1116, and 1118.
4. Provide strategic tax planning and consulting to clients.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with clients to provide exceptional service and ensure client satisfaction.
6. Stay updated on current tax practices and changes in tax law.
7. Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, ensuring the highest level of performance and productivity.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or EA is highly preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax, with a focus on international tax, tax preparation, and tax research.
3. Extensive experience with tax forms such as 5471, 5472, 8621, 8992, 8993, 8858, 8865, 8832, 8833, 926, 1042, 1116, and 1118.
4. Strong knowledge of international tax laws and regulations.
5. Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing a team.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. High attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
