This position is a member of our External Relations Division.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Experience planning, developing, coordinating, and implementing programs on pollution prevention and recycling.
Experience interpreting and/or applying environmental regulations.
Experience preparing and presenting information to internal and external stakeholders
One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a supervisory capacity
HERES WHAT YOULL BE DOING...
Plan and oversee the activities of the Pollution Prevention and Recycling team. Establish team goals and objectives; develop and/or approve schedules, priorities, program evaluation, and standards for achieving performance goals. Develop and monitor compliance with program guidelines, procedures, and policies.
Supervise the activities of the Pollution Prevention and Recycling team. Complete personnel management functions, which includes interviewing, hiring, and developing staff, performance management, professional development and staff-team development. Serve as Public Education Section manager in the absence of the manager.
Complete/participate in special projects and communicates program information to employees, management, internal and external stakeholders, and customers through verbal communication, correspondence, meetings, and presentations.
Review and approve materials that meet agency standards for publication on agency websites. Review and approve exceptions for materials posted to the Web.
Qualifications: EDUCATION EXPERIENCE
Experience in the administration of a program relevant to assignment.
OR
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in a field relevant to assignment.
Transcripts/ College Hours or Course Work:See instructionson how to attach documents. A copy of your official college transcript or evaluation of foreign credentials in CAPPS is required if needed to meet the qualifications listed above.
