The teacher collaborates with the assistant teacher to foster a learning environment that nurtures the social, emotional, and intellectual growth of each enrolled child, while also ensuring the environment remains clean, safe, and well-prepared.
Requirements:
New York State Certification Professional BIRTH -GRADE 2 or Permanent PRE-K-6 required
Two Years Early Childhood Education teaching experience
Bilingual Spanish a plus
Strong computer skills
Ability to communicate effectively and be able to work in a team
Must be multi-tasked and able to prioritize competing demands
Comprehensive knowledge of early childhood education
Ability to creatively motivate and engage students' interests
Attend educational training workshops and in-service sessions planned for staff.
Strong analytical, interpersonal and writing skills required
Salary Range: $40,617 - $77,214 (Commensurate with Education)
