About the Job
IU Health Physicians and IU School of Medicine are seeking a BE/BC Family Medicine Physician with experience in Surgical Obstetrics. This opportunity will be with the Family Medicine Residency Practice located in central Indianapolis and presents a unique opportunity to be a part of the full continuum of academic medicine. This physician would be a faculty member within the Indiana University Department of Family Medicine have the unique opportunity to have:

Qualifications:
- Must be a MD, DO or equivalent Education
- BE/BC with the American Board of Family Medicine, Experience in Surgical OB is preferred
- Able to obtain IN Licensure

About the Family Medicine Center Residency:
The Family Medicine Clinic team is focused on providing the best care to its community while also preparing the next generation of family medicine providers.
The Clinic cares for a large, underserved population within the Indianapolis area and provides a range of additional clinical offerings (OB-Gyn, Sports Medicine, Geriatrics, Pain Related Care, Gender Affirming Care, Travel Medicine, Procedures)
Multidisciplinary team:
- 17 Faculty Family Physicians, including 2 other surgical OB faculty
- 2 Nurse Practitioners
- 1 PharmD
- 40+ Clinical Staff
- Social Work
- 39 Family Medicine Residents
- Transitional Year Students
- Learners and Students – Medical, Pharmacy, Nurse Practitioner, RN, MA
