Gerresheimer Peachtree City L.P. was established in 1993 in Peachtree City, GA, as part of the Plastics & Devices Division manufacturing and assembling a variety of precision molded plastic parts for various applications in the medical industry. The subsidiary operates in an 132 K sq. ft. production facility with 200 employees.
Job DescriptionManagement of an operational accounting team.
- All necessary tasks within the scope of management (development of personnel as well as the operational and procedural framework conditions).
- Independent participation in the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements of the respective company with all necessary individual tasks (Variance analysis on actuals, Assist with month- end close, Review results.)
- Independently taking on special tasks when converting to USGAAP/IFRS
- Independent examination of complex business relationships and issues as part of a consulting function
- Participation in various special topics (e.g. projects)
- Initiating and participating in the optimization of financial processes
- Application of methods and instruments of financial and investment planning and preparation of planning calculations
- Ensuring effective communication with internal and external interfaces and partners
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and at least 5 years of experience in a comparable position in an industrial environment with management responsibility.
- 5 years' general ledger or audit experience
- 3-4 years in a leadership role
- 3-4 years in Fixed Assets systems
- SAP experience a plus
