Location:  Fully remote, must be local to Lake Mary for equipment pickup

Pay:  $22.85/hr - $26/hr

Type:  Contract, until approximately 2/15/2025

Schedule:  M-F 9-6 EST through Dec
January and beyond may have different shift hours will between 8am to 8pm EST
In January, shifts can move around usually 90% fixed
You will be assigned a schedule, with a (1) hour lunch, must adhere to assigned break schedules.
Weekends may be required starting in January (OT, volunteers first).
All overtime must be client approved.

Job description:

• Provide daily instructions and guidance to team members on processing Benefit Investigations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Offer coaching and support for issue resolution, helping team members successfully complete benefit investigations
• Monitor seasonal employee performance on task-specific duties to ensure compliance with client service level requirements.
• Conduct daily assessments of team production, ensuring performance standards and quality control measures are consistently met.
• Assist the Supervisor and Area Director/Manager with training initiatives to prepare Reimbursement Specialists for performance benchmarks, and escalate issues as needed.
• Assist with queue for Reimbursement Specialist taking calls during peak.

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of (4) years of experience in healthcare.
• Must have (2)+ years of related experience in specialty pharmacy, medical insurance, reimbursement hub, physician’s office, healthcare setting, and/or insurance background.
• Previous experience processing benefits investigations in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be patient:  This role is the first point of contact for questions related to training, must be able to maintain a pleasant demeanor.
• Must have a private designated workspace.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
