As an Inside Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the inside sales team in achieving revenue targets and driving sales growth for our respiratory diagnostic solutions. This role combines leadership, sales strategy, and customer engagement to enhance team performance and ensure exceptional service delivery to healthcare providers. Your leadership and strategic insights will be vital in fostering a high-performing sales environment. This role is crucial for driving sales success and supporting our mission to provide high-quality respiratory diagnostic solutions to healthcare providers. Minimal travel may be necessary for team-building events or customer visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of inside sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement effective sales strategies, tactics, and best practices that align with company objectives.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor team performance metrics and sales activities, providing regular feedback and coaching to optimize productivity and improve sales techniques.
- Customer Engagement: Engage directly with key accounts and prospects, building strong relationships and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross selling our respiratory diagnostic solutions.
- Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for the inside sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry trends, ensuring they are equipped to effectively serve customers.
- CRM Management: Oversee the use of the CRM system to track sales activities, pipeline management, and customer interactions, ensuring data accuracy and effective lead management.
- Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with marketing, customer service, and product management teams to align sales initiatives, coordinate lead generation efforts, and gather market feedback.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in inside sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in the medical technology or healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving team performance.
- Sales Skills: Strong understanding of sales processes, techniques, and best practices, with experience in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team to achieve high performance.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively conveying information and building relationships with customers and team members.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in analysing sales data and making data-driven decisions.
