Intertek is searching for a Sales Team Lead to join our Electricalteam in our Plano, TX office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in Sales!
The Sales Team Lead is responsible for supervision of the sales team members, including coaching and mentoring, developing professional growth and development plans.
What you'll do:

- Direct supervision of the sales team members, including coaching and mentoring; developing professional growth and development plans.
- Track and report on sales-related metrics, including sales activities; quote and order activity; forecasting.
- Lead routing and distribution.
- Manage a selected number of accounts as an individual contributor.
- Reassign accounts as appropriate.
- Attend high-level and/or key meetings with the sales team for prospective and/or current customers.
- Effectively resolve customer issues.
- Effectively communicate and promote Intertek's sales vision and strategy in a clear and concise manner.
- In conjunction with Finance, validate commission payments each month, including ensuring revenue allocation is accurate.
- Assist Regional Manager with duties as needed.
- Performs other work as required.
What it takes to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years' experience, or 10+ years relevant experience, including sales, industry, and trade associations.
- CRM experience
- MS Office proficiency
- Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills

- Be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines.
- Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal written and presentation formats.
- Must possess the fundamental technical and administrative skills required to perform the job duties.
- Must be customer-focused and quality-driven.
- Ability to travel as business needs dictate up to 50%
- A valid driver's license and reliable driving record.
