Purpose of Role
_As a Distribution House Team Lead Mechanic, you will be responsible for leading the daily activities of the Mechanical Maintenance Department to ensure equipment reliability and longevity. This involves driving a safety culture and driving Under Armour’s Core Competencies._
Your Impact
+ Maintains a clean and safe work environment and reports any unsafe working conditions or equipment.
+ Provide assistance in leading and directing the maintenance mechanics
+ Work with the Maintenance leadership to implement department strategy(s) and initiative in a timely and efficient manner.
+ Ensures the completion of the full life cycle of a work order including data entry, mechanical work parts, inventory tracking, coordination and communication with Distribution House Operations staff.
+ Performing routine preventative and troubleshooting maintenance to conveyor systems and related material handling equipment
+ Duties many include but are not limited to repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting machinery requiring electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical and/or hydraulic attention.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
+ Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
+ Excellent proven safety record
+ Ability to interpret schematics, mechanical blueprints, and PLC ladder logic
+ Able to operate and trained on all aerial equipment, such as boom lift, scissor lift, and forklift.
Computer Skills
+ PC experience; MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
+ Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Working knowledge of Maintenance Connection is a plus.
+ Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
+ Knowledge of Warehouse Control Systems (WCS
Other Skills
+ Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
+ Language Skills
+ Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
