Job Summary:
The Team Leader acts as a production leader. They should understand key concepts of the manufacturing environment, product specifications, and be able to effectively lead a team in a cohesive environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Production Line Management:
Production Line Management:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of line workers to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the production line.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to line workers, monitor progress, and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with production schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Quality Control:
- Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Identify any deviations from quality requirements and take corrective action to address issues.
- Implement quality control procedures and provide training to line workers on quality standards and inspection criteria.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance:
- Oversee the operation of production equipment and machinery, ensuring proper setup and functioning.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance and repair activities as needed.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement measures to minimize downtime.
Training and Development:
- Train new line workers on production processes, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to line workers to enhance their skills and performance.
- Identify training needs and opportunities for skill development among team members.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve production processes, streamline workflows, and increase efficiency.
- Implement process improvements and best practices to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate production goals, priorities, and performance metrics to line workers and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other departments to address production issues and implement solutions.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration among team members.
