Our Shift Managers are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Shift Manager’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Shift Managers lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Shift Manager Responsibilities:
- Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
- Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
- Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
- Be a friendly, encouraging team player
- Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
- Serves as subject matter expert to leadership and team for ongoing hospitality, customer service, and kitchen support
- Responsible for inventory and facilities management
- Complete understanding of each key position in both the front and back of the store
- Ability to manage financial responsibility - Count drawers and finalize day
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Continuously strategizes how to improve sales and processes in the restaurant
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to, standing for up to 10 hours and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Follow Chick-fil-A’s operational policies and procedures

- You must have proven ability to lead in fast-paced environments as part of a team
- Has to possess basic computer competency
- Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred.
