About the Job
We are seeking team leaders who have experience in leading shifts/operations in a retail setting. A Team Leader is one who consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture and has a servant’s heart. They have a passion for people and serving others, have strong character, take initiative and work with a sense of urgency at all times. Our Team Leaders are responsible for running shifts and supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Team Leader’s two main areas of focus are leading operations so the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Team Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Team Leader Responsibilities:
- Great communication both written and verbal, to leaders, team members, vendors, guests in order to offer clear feedback and updates. Promotes active listening.
- Maintains organized systems for task delegation, schedules, and inventory management, prioritizes tasks effectively, and creates efficient workflows.
- Uses analytical thinking to identify patterns, anticipate issues, and make data-driven decisions, analyzing trends, monitoring performance, and adjusting strategies for efficiency and profitability.
- Builds strong relationships with team members through empathy, respect, and appreciation, fostering a positive, trust-based work culture.
- Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
- Makes quick, informed decisions based on available information, weighing pros and cons and acting decisively to maintain smooth operations
- Leads shifts - Open, Mid or Close
- Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
- Be a friendly, encouraging team player lead shifts
- Count drawers and finalize day

- Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required but is strongly preferred.
