About the job
In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive customer order execution, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost priorities. You will be responsible for outbound shipments and servicing all operations at our Richmond facility. Currently, this is an on-site opportunity located in Richmond, VA.
As a part of the team, you will:
- Oversee all outbound warehouse processes, including shipping and transportation coordination with Alfa Laval Logistics Control Tower (LCT).
- Manage Fluid Handling warehouse activities.
- Establish operational policies for outbound shipments and issue resolution.
- Maintain relationships with third-party material storage sites and packaging vendors.
- Act as the Outbound Warehouse organization and Process Owner.
- Collaborate with other Alfa Laval sites globally to implement best practices.
- Manage product flow/storage, inventory control, and distribution activities.
- Coordinate export control for proper licensing on exported orders.
What you know:
You have BA degree in Logistics, Distribution, and/or Supply Chain with relevant experience and:
- BA degree in Logistics, Distribution, and/or Supply Chain.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in production, manufacturing, and/or transportation.
- Warehouse site management experience.
- Lean distribution and warehousing experience.
- Proficient in MS applications and ERP/Warehouse Management systems.
- Experience with improvement tools such as 5S, Six Sigma, and/or Kaizen.
- Strong people management, training, development, and team-building skills.

We rely on market indicators and consider your specific job, background, skills, and experience to get it right. The base salary for this role is typically $82,000 - $93,000.
