About the Job
nou Systems, Inc. (nSI) has immediate need for multiple candidates for Engineer and Analyst positions in Huntsville, AL; Colorado Springs, CO; and the National Capitol Region (NCR) to provide support to our Engineering Services Team within our rapidly growing technology company, with multiple locations, operating in the missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, and space control marketspaces.
TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering (MDSE) is a contract newly awarded to Team Parsons, of which nSI is a team member. This contract has a 3 year base period with up to 4.5 additional years as options. Team Parsons will be providing Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support to many organizations within the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), including but not limited to: the Director for Engineering (DE), the Systems Engineer (SE), the Chief Engineer (CE), the Chief Architect (CA), and the elements where the program and product offices reside.
Heres what youll be doing: You'll be using a broad set of technical skills to support staffing this contract. If accepted by the prime, you will be paired to roles well-suited to your background. When you apply here, if qualified, you will be considered as nSI candidates on this contract.
Heres what youll need: You must have a Master of Science degree at minimum, in a technical field. Also, were looking for someone with 12 or more years full-time professional experience in areas such as: missile defense-related or other DoD program/projects. OR Bachelors of Science (BS) or the Arts (BA) plus 20 years of professional experience. Finally, you must possess an active SECRET Security Clearance. Lacking any one of these disqualifies you from this job.
Other qualifications we hope you bring to the table:
- Familiarity with one or more of the following:
- MDA Ground and/or Flight Test Planning and/or Execution
- Radar Hardware/Software, Capabilities, Functionalities, Algorithms
- Missile Threat Systems (especially hypersonics, cruise missiles, and IAMD)
- Systems Engineering and Assessment
- Systems Integration, Interoperability, and Interfaces
- Risk Management, Configuration Control
- Proficiency in written and oral communication skills to independently develop technical white papers, briefings, etc., as required by the customer to communicate complex technical issues
- Capability to utilize, adapt, and develop analytical tools, techniques, and processes for technical and/or administrative support activities
- Teamwork-centered mentality, willingness to assist with solving complex problems
