Tear Down Technician - 1st Shift - Ingersoll Rand

Disassembler Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Disassembler/Tear down Tech to join our team at our facility located in St. Peters, MO, 63376. The Tear Down Technician should possess a strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work overtime as needed.

Overview

Responsibilities:

• Assemble blowers and exhausters according to blueprints;
• Work with the Engineering Department and the Quality Assurance Department to troubleshoot and solve problems;
• Apply standard work practices;
• Follow all safety rules, environmental regulating procedures and utilize required safety equipment when appropriate;
• Adhere to 6s (5s) principles, clean, organize, and properly store all equipment;
• Operate Crane and Fork Truck to move equipment and parts (training and certification provided by the company);

- Operate machinery and hand tools as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Blue print and ruler knowledge;
• Excellent hands on experience with basic hand tools;
• Excellent mechanical skills and small parts assembly proficiency;
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally;
