As a Tech Risk and Controls Director for Issue Management in Cybersecurity and Technology Controls at JPMorgan Chase, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the firm's technology risk management strategy
Leveraging your advanced knowledge and expertise in technology-risk disciplines, you will identify, oversee, and mitigate compliance and operational risks in line with the firm's standards
You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including Product Owners, Business Control Managers, and regulators, to develop and maintain a comprehensive view of the technology risk posture and its impact on the business
Your ability to make calculated decisions, manage large teams, and drive strategic projects will be crucial in ensuring the firm's adherence to regulatory obligations and industry best practices
Your work will contribute to the long-term success and resilience of the organization in an ever-evolving technology landscapeJob responsibilitiesDevelop and implement technology risk management strategies, policies, and processes to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, and drive strategic projects and initiatives to enhance the firm's technology risk management capabilities, in line with industry best practices and the firm's standards and regulatory requirementsWork with all three JPMC Lines of Defense to ensure the accuracy of statements and identified riskPartner with other Tech Risk & Control personnel to ensure appropriate root cause analysis to confirm thorough understanding of findings/observations Ensure only qualified risks are entered into CORE and adhere to GRC quality requirements for IssuesProvide auditability, risk, and sustainability advisement and approval for all identified IssuesEnsure Issue Action Plans (APs) sufficiently and sustainably address the identified riskReview/approve all Issue and AP closure documentationEstablish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including key cross-functional team leads, to ensure compliance with Firm Issue Management Standards and ProceduresRespectfully challenge viewpoints of all three Lines of DefenseIdentify Issue Management trends to be reported to various reporting entities Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills7+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technology risk management, information security, or a related field, with a focus on managing risk identification, assessment, and mitigationIn-depth hands-on experience in audit and risk management practices/functionsCISA designation requiredAdvanced knowledge of IT control frameworksProficiency in information security domains, including policies and standards, risk and control assessments, access controls, regulatory compliance, technology resiliency, risk and control governance and metrics, incident management, secure systems development lifecycle, vulnerability management, and data protectionDemonstrated expertise in risk management frameworks, industry standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to the financial industryProven ability to lead large teams, manage cross-functional projects, influence executive-level strategic decision-making, and effectively translate technology insights to business strategy in communications with senior executivesAdvanced knowledge and experience leading data security, risk assessment & reporting, and control evaluation, design, and governance, with a track record of implementing effective risk mitigation strategiesPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsCRISC designation preferred
