Required Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• California Dialysis Technician License (CHT/CCHT does not suffice)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Dialysis Technician to join our team in Ukiah for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in dialysis care and be committed to providing high-quality support to patients undergoing dialysis treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain dialysis machines and equipment for patient use.
• Monitor patients during dialysis treatments, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Perform patient assessments and document vital signs and treatment data accurately.
• Assist with the initiation and termination of dialysis sessions.
• Educate patients and their families about the dialysis process and care protocols.
• Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to optimize patient care and outcomes.

Additional Details:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift Notes: No call and no float required.
• Clinic Days: 6 Days
• Clinic Hours: 04:45 - 17:15
• Patient Load: 85 patients
• Dialysis Machines: BBraun (24 machines available)
• Overtime: Overtime billed after 40 hours/week; cannot bill OT until after 40 hours/week.
• Scheduling: DCI does not accommodate scheduling requests or blocked schedules. Travelers must be available as needed based on clinic needs and census.
