Our ability to integrate distinct specialties gives customers the opportunity to work with a coordinated team for the design and maintenance of their infrastructure.
Summary of duties and responsibilities:
- Daily Tier II IT support for assigned customers, including both internal and external customers
- Escalation point for advanced technical issues
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers
- Respond to customer needs by phone, remotely or in person depending on the issue
- Visits to customer sites will vary based on workloads and customer demands
- Recommend technology solutions and improvements to clients
- Serve as departmental resource for subjects in your area of expertise
- Manage customer-related projects
- Document IT processes and solutions
- Track software license compliance
- Maintain a detailed inventory of technology hardware
- Assist IT staff with document management
- Perform routine support and administrative tasks
- Other work as assigned or prudent
Education and/or Experience:
- Two-year college degree or Industry certification required
- 3+ years' documented technology experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft desktop and server operating systems
- Networking background
- Cloud application management such as Office 365, backup, and antivirus
- Proficiency in Office applications, specifically Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
- Familiarity with IT terminology (software, hardware, equipment/supplies, networks, telephony, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- Ability to use independent judgment, maintain a high level of confidentiality and operate under minimal supervision
- Valid Drivers' License and clean driving record required
- Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) required
