As our Account Manager in the service department, reporting directly to the service manager and vCIO
IMPORTANT: You must be in the Dallas Fort Worth area to be considered for this position.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary business contact for clients, ensuring policy adherence and procedure maintenance.
- Utilize your high level of independence, business acumen, and exceptional client service skills.
- Organize tasks effectively while accurately monitoring client work through service calls and documentation.
- Collaborate with vCIOs regularly to align sales services with client needs.
- Remain accessible for product inquiries and quick sales opportunities between regular meetings.
- Product Knowledge and Vendor Relations:
- Demonstrate knowledge of our comprehensive product stack to optimize client solutions.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure top-tier products at competitive prices.
- Communicate effectively with business owners, translating IT requirements into actionable service proposals.
- Stay abreast of market trends to inform strategic account planning.
- Record all account activities within our Professional Services Automation (PSA) system.
- Renewals and Technology Planning:
- Manage renewals for products and software efficiently while maintaining profitable margins.
- Collaborate with appropriate departments to develop and maintain a technology plan that supports client needs.
- Identify trends and develop strategies to support these trends.
- Create opportunities and follow-up activities.
- Utilize the proposal tool to initiate proposals to clients.
- Daily Sales Activities:
- Conduct daily sales for clients when received directly from the client (e.g., churn and burn, mouse, keyboards, etc.).
- Position Responsibilities:
- Ensure client retention and satisfaction through proactive relationship management.
- Procure products and software as needed.
- Support vCIOs in managing assigned client accounts.
- Assist in preparing Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) when needed.
- Prepare proposals and accept orders from clients.
- Maintain proper margin on products ordered.
- Ensure orders are completed in a timely and accurate manner 100% of the time.

Our total compensation and benefits for this role includes:
- Salary is based on experience, drive and the value you can bring to the company: and is in the range of $40,000 to $50,000 per year.
