Title: Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting Accountant (Part Time)

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Duration: 6 Months

Description

The Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting Accountant will be responsible for the end-to-end management of SEC filing through Workiva. This role will perform required activities to ensure accurate reporting according to SEC and US GAAP.
Responsibilities:

• Managing the end-to-end process of preparing and filing SEC reporting including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and potentially the 8-K.
• This role will lead processes including circulation of SEC filing documents to stakeholders within the business.
• Preparing, reviewing, and editing any comments within Workiva.

Requirements:

• 10 years of experience with a combination of public accounting and recent tech industry (software and/or SaaS) accounting experience.
• Candidates should have extensive working knowledge of Workiva software.
• Expert level excel skills.
• Candidates should possess extensive technical accounting skills.
• Candidates should have flexibility to work required schedule to manage quarter end filings of SEC reporting.
• Candidates should be within commuting distance and be willing to report onsite.
• Expected schedule is 20 hours per week, however there will be weeks in between filing deadlines where contractors will have no work to perform.
