Technical Accounting, Manager at KBW Financial

We are working with a great Publicly-traded Life Sciences company on a search for a Technical Accounting Manager to add to their growing team
This is a newly created role due to company growth
This Technical Accounting Manager will be involved in various areas of complex accounting, SEC reporting (10K's and 10Q's) including revenue recognition, business combinations, equity administration
The ideal candidate will have public accounting experience


Responsibilities:

Lead technical accounting including revenue recognition, business combinations, equity administration, etc.
Assist withquarterly and yearly SEC filings (10Q's and 10K's) including MD$A and footnotes
Collaborate with various internal stakeholders and investors
Participate in Month end close process
Partner with outside Auditors
Ensure controls are in compliance with SOX-404
Other ad hoc projects as needed with the Corporate Controller and VP

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA and public accounting experience highly preferred
3 plus years of experience
Strong foundation of US GAAP, SEC, and SOX
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
