Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
- Administration for Bentley v8i & Magellan (internal platform).
- Design, create, and maintain existing software platforms and systems.
- Document existing and new systems/software flows.
- Administer systems (operating systems/software) where applicable.
- Profile existing applications to troubleshoot bottlenecks in workflow or software using various methodologies and tools.
- Data profiling existing systems/databases in order to ensure optimal performance.
- Administer development databases where applicable.
- Be in monthly on-call rotation for system support when needed.
Understanding of software design patterns and principles.
- Understanding of systems architecture and their underlying network components
- Ability to administer existing and new systems (Windows/Linux).
- Solid knowledge in Kubernetes, Oracle 12, certification process, Jenkins, Mongo DB, RHEL
- Understanding of Geographic Information Systems (Coordinate System reprojection, transform algorithms, etc.)
- Understanding of source control management systems (BitBucket).
- Ability and the want to learn new systems, development languages and their frameworks.
- Ability to document and understand existing systems and workflows.
