You will be working on systems/applications and processes with intent to build out an application. Application is Alteryx. Having had experience with Alteryx would be a huge plus.
How will this role have an impact?
The Senior Associate will lead business/technical analysis of payer data and be responsible for quality and transformations at each stage of the historical payer data analysis process. This role will own and drive data processing and analysis using a combination of the client's products and technical tools (e.g. python scripts). The Sr. Associate will serve as the main interface across internal and external stakeholders to report on and review results from a given initiative or project. The Senior Associate serves as the primary conduit of business/technical problem-solving for stakeholder-facing issues which requires strong understanding of healthcare data metrics & KPIs, large data sets and data-related functionality as well as strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

What will you do?
- Lead the data processing and analysis for key business deliverables that drive business growth and support our contracted clients.
- Proactively leveraging internal tools such as Python scripts, Alteryx workflows & AWS to assemble and analyze data for business and client needs, making sure data and calculations are accurate and issues promptly resolved
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external clients on identifying, documenting, communicating and seeking resolution on modifications to existing artifacts that go out to clients as well as data processing rules that govern how we use client data
- Conduct phase gate meetings with stakeholders to clearly articulate data issues, outline data manipulations, present scorecard metrics and results of testing / validations performed.
- Examine existing reports to understand current requirements/performance and identify opportunities for operational improvements
- Meets with assigned stakeholder groups for post mortem analysis to review projects and ensure needs are met for accurate timely future deliverables.
- Demonstrates strong sense of urgency, proactively assembles and analyzes data for business and client needs, making sure data and calculations are accurate and issues promptly resolved
- Proactively manages communication updates across stakeholders for issue identification all the way through issue resolution.
- Execute on objectives through a business stakeholder relationship centered around providing accurate data to clients in a timely manner
- Accurate adherence and maintenance of documentation including checklists, how to guides, internal ticketing systems etc
- Partners with Product & Analytics Teams to provide ideas, enhancements and/or fixes to existing products and processes promote issue prevention and system stabilization.
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrating strong technical and analytical skills with proven ability in identifying weaknesses in data flow design, recommending solutions and improving quality.
- Healthcare experience - provider and or payer is required
- Exceptionally strong organizational skills and ability to create and follow processes
- Superb critical thinking and problem solving-skills, can independently assess a problem and autonomously determine a path towards resolution and providing options to stakeholders.
- Strong experience with Python (Pandas, Numpy, etc)
- Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, etc a plus.
- Experience with Tableau or other BI tools a plus
- Experience with Alteryx is a plus
- Proactively driving initiatives, managing and escalating risks and offering solutions to management.
- Collaborative in nature and willing to dig in with cross-functional teams to provide solutions
- Exceptionally strong written and verbal communicator, comfortable with leading meetings with multiple teams of different expertise and disciplines
- Exceptionally strong proactive communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders at a leadership level; this role will have some speaking responsibilities in client calls and will be seen as the point of contact for data-related items
- Strong organizational skills; balancing workload across multiple initiatives and ability to independently and appropriately prioritize work and initiatives.
