The Technical Business Analyst/Solution Designer is responsible for taking lead of planning and designing of new software and web applications. They will be responsible for interfacing with the Project Lead to manage and drive project solution. Assists with tracking performance metrics, providing regular status updates, and integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Because the position requires extensive interaction with others, the individual must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills while maintaining a positive can-do attitude.
The Solution Designer will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders and other groups to help deliver solutions with tight timelines. This includes integrating with business units to understand their needs, working with various architecture and development teams to create a solution for the business, utilizing company application and services infrastructure, and then working with impacted development and testing team(s) to ensure successful delivery of the proposed solution. The successful candidate will have a passion for consistency, design patterns, and web design. They will speak in wireframes, visualize in sitemaps and workflows, and imagine in prototypes. Front-end to back-end candidates will have a proven understanding of how technologies integrate together and what makes a good user experience even better. Individuals for this role should constantly strive to improve upon current work and gain the knowledge to make further improvements.

What You Will Be Doing
- Manage and drive project solution definition, design and execution in each phase of delivery.
- Conduct and manage structured meetings including requirements gathering sessions with complex backend integrations and dependencies.
- Provide detailed analyses and summaries of results, interpreting and communicating results and recommendations to brand/business stakeholders with limited availability.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and changing business requirements.
- Drives strategic and innovative approaches, giving a voice to the end user and/or customer.
- Identify and promote opportunities for simplification and proactively challenge existing processes and implement changes in transforming organization.
- Ensure comprehensive risk and impact assessment. This includes ensuring that the logical modelling activity is consistent with the other technical project activities.
- Keep design documentation, wireframes, interaction flows, visual designs, etc. updated as requirements, technology, and development capabilities evolve.
- Partner with Bus OPS, Dev OPS and PMO divisions to ensure overall project and program success including timelines and deliveries are met.

- Strong flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced dynamic and evolving business.
- Apply the right tools-of-the-trade to accurately capture and communicate interaction design though journey maps, workflow diagrams, sketches and wireframes, or by whatever means is most appropriate.
- Comfortable with an iterative design process that includes accepting and managing feedback and constructive criticism.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects utilizing strong planning and organizational skills.
- Self-managed while communicating regularly with updates, risks, and issues.
- Self-motivated, innovative person with analytical, problem solving, decision making, and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to changes and new ideas.
- Strong client interaction/negotiation skills.
- Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Solution Design.
- Thorough understanding of SDLC processes, procedures and tools.
- Proven experience in complex requirements gathering techniques, analytical dissection for use case definition, architecture diagramming, sequence diagrams, test planning/execution and system requirement analysis.
- Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally to successfully complete assigned deliverable including requirements gathering and documentation skills.
- Experience functioning as a lead or sole Business Analyst on a project.
- Comprehensive understanding of agile software development methodologies.
- Relevant application and design process expertise.
- Proven ability to synthesize many data points into coherent information design
