Salary Range: $80K-$90K/Annum
Job Description:
- Solid understanding of US English, including grammar and spelling.
- Experienced Information Developer/Technical Writer with more than 2 years of experience
- Hands-on experience with developing customer service documentation
- Familiarity with using style guides, especially the Chicago Manual of Style
- Ability to offer constructive feedback to authors
- Familiarity with the automotive or trucking industry
- Knowledge of Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical terms used in Automotive or trucking industry
- Experience with service tools and its specifications used for vehicle servicing
- Good understanding of Agile environment & alignment to Agile writing principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- To work with cross-functional Teams
- Familiar with XML and DITA XML authoring using PTC Arbortext Editor
- Knowledge of Acrobat pro
- Work to improve the content and appearance of customer documentation continuously
- Achieve expert product knowledge to produce quality materials and high-level technical solutions being developed
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Development of appropriate documentation to support technical publication manuals
- The candidate must have bachelor’s degree in Technical writing or communication or Engineering
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of management.
