Position: Technical Development and Support Trainer
Reports to: Technical Development Manager
Applied Innovation is looking for a self-motivated, highly energetic, and detail-oriented candidate to fill a full-time opportunity as a Service Technical Development and Support Trainer working out of Grand Rapids, Lansing, Southfield or South Bend offices. The candidate must possess excellent organizational, communication and technical skills. Certifications and experience with Ricoh, Canon, or other manufacturer’s Multi-Function Devices are required.

The responsibilities and requirements include but are not limited to the following:
- Development and Implementation of manufacture/vender training guidelines to achieve technician certifications.
- Assist in development/design of training curriculum for areas such as technical procedures, skills and techniques in accordance with company initiatives and strategies.
- Conducts ride-along training for individual technicians to help develop proper habits and techniques.
- Implementations of new product and product update training.
- Assist in technical support for technicians in the field and phone/virtual support.
- Maintains personal certifications on product updates and new products.
- Use of Microsoft 365 and other multi-media for the highest standards in the delivery of instructions, demonstrations, and workshops.
- Ability to take on special projects and develop strategies to implement them and achieve objectives.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record (no DUI’s in the past 5 years).
- Travel required occasionally.
- 5 years industry experience, preferred.
