Position Overview:
Shaw Industries is seeking a Technical Engineer to drive continuous improvement efforts and new product/new equipment development.
Responsibilities:
Lead, assist, and/or support continuous quality improvement efforts.
Provide engineering and troubleshooting support to all departments as needed.
Investigate processing and quality problems and implement data driven solutions.
Study processing parameters to improve product performance. Must be able to set up systems to collect and analyze data as well as implement data driven solutions.
Manage the implementation of any process changes.
Develop processing conditions for any new products
Develop quality specs for all new products.
Managing and/orassistingTechnical Manager with all new developmental projects.
Assistand lead Lean/Kaizen/Six Sigma process and projects.
Requirements:
Must have aBachelor’sdegreein a relevant field.
Mustpossessgood interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
