Overview:
The UAS Maintainer will perform UAS scheduled and unscheduled field-level maintenance at multiple flight lines and/or Maintenance Training Facilities, as directed and on multiple shifts. May be assigned to supervisory, lead positions or assume additional duties such as, Team/Shift Lead, Production Control (PC) Officer, Assistant PC Officer, Quality Control Officer, Technical Inspector, or Maintenance Instructor (if qualified). - Inspects, tests, troubleshoots, services, and repairs all components of the UAS IAW maintenance technical manuals and all related aviation maintenance regulations
- Inspects, monitors, and repairs all maintenance support equipment
- Performs all UAS launch and recovery operations
- Performs all set-up & tear down, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of the launch and recovery equipment
- Shall have honorably served in military aviation maintenance MOS or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years’ documented aviation maintenance experience
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, ascend and descend stairs
- Stand for an extended period of time up to at least 50 minutes
- Walk at least 100 meters across uneven or unpaved surfaces
