About the Role
Our client is a cutting-edge startup revolutionizing the financial sector by developing a fractional-reserve stablecoin to unlock new levels of capital efficiency, traditionally accessible only to banks. Following an oversubscribed pre-seed fundraise, they are looking to expand their team with a Technical Lead to oversee the architecture and engineering development efforts.

In this role, you will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to convert functional requirements into actionable specifications. You will manage the development team, coordinate architectural efforts, and oversee technical tasks across engineering, tokenomics, and UX design. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate daily with leadership to align the product development with their vision.
- Oversee both architectural and engineering development efforts, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (CEO, Lead Dev) on technical architecture and break it down into actionable components.
- Lead tokenomics discussions with key stakeholders to fine-tune design and go-to-market strategies.
- Translate technical architecture into user stories in collaboration with UX consultants.
- Manage and assign development tasks across the engineering team, ensuring timely completion of work.
- Advise management on technical hiring decisions.
- Coordinate with leadership to ensure project deadlines are met, requesting additional resources when necessary.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s is a plus).
- 5+ years of technical experience in a relevant field.
- 2+ years of leadership experience managing software development teams.
- 1+ years of leadership experience in a DeFi-related organization.
- Prior experience as a Founder or in a startup environment is a plus.
- Strong public presence in the DeFi community.
- Expertise in software architecture design, preferably in Web3.
- Experience in tokenomics design is preferred.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira.
- Security-first mindset with a passion for preventing exploits.
- Comprehensive understanding of DeFi and the cypherpunk ideology.
