We are passionate about making our customers secure by simplifying security with zero compromise using AI and Machine Learning.What you’ll do: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Marketing Evangelist for Security and AI to join our Security AI team
In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and evangelizing Cisco's security and AI solutions to a wide range of audiences, including enterprise customers, partners, industry analysts and internal executive stakeholders
You will leverage your technical expertise and marketing acumen to drive awareness, adoption, and success of our innovative products and solutions
This includes:Evangelize Cisco’s AI/ML Strategy to customer development teams as well as build prototypes to solve for customer problemsInfluence Cisco development teams to contribute and build features for AI productsDevelop and execute technical marketing strategies to promote Cisco's security and AI solutions.Create compelling technical content, including whitepapers, case studies, presentations, and demos, to showcase the value and capabilities of our products.Represent Cisco at industry events, conferences, and webinars to share thought leadership and demonstrate our expertise in security and AI.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field
Advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical or product marketing or engineeringMinimum of 4 years of experience as a technology advocate or evangelistMinimum of 2 years of experience in AI/ML to include experience with Generative AIPreferred Skills:Strong technical background in cybersecurity and AI, with hands-on experience in deploying and managing security solutions and AI technologies.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.Proven track record of creating high-quality technical content and delivering impactful presentations.Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.Passion for technology and a deep understanding of the latest trends and advancements in security and AI.Experience with Cisco security products and solutions, such as Cisco SecureX, Cisco Umbrella, and Cisco Talos.Familiarity with AI and machine learning frameworks and tools, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and OpenAI.Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in cybersecurity and AI.Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM) and AI (e.g., Google AI, IBM AI) are a plus.Why Cisco SecureWe're global, we're adaptable, we're diverse, and our security portfolio is as extensive as it is groundbreaking

For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target
Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
