The Technical Operations Training Coordinator provides administrative support within the Tech Ops Training Department, supports the implementation and administration of the Tech Ops training program, coordinates travel to and from training events, as well as maintains personnel training records within the Company’s Learning Management System (LMS).
Responsibilities:- Maintains an understanding of Company policy and FAA guidance as related to the maintenance training program and informs the Manager, Tech Ops Training when training discrepancies may exist
- Complies with official request for training verifications and supporting documentation under the direction of the Manager, Tech Ops Training.
- Serves as point of contact for general Tech Ops Training related questions and administrator of Tech Ops Training mailbox.
- Coordinates with Supervisor, Tech Ops Instructors to ensure LMS training schedule accurately reflects necessary course information (e.g. course offering date, associated instructor, training location, etc.).
- Enroll and monitor enrollment of students for courses in training schedule.
- Verifies completion of classes and awards credit for completed training in LMS.
- Schedule/coordinate all travel/hotel/car rental reservations for Tech Ops training events.
- Coordinates with all external vendors for password issues, LMS issues and setting up new accounts.
- Assist the training instructors in preparation for delivering scheduled training courses and in completing required documentation for course completion.
- Performs data input of completed training into the Company LMS and completes status changes to adjust premium pay when required.
- Communicates with and assists Technical Operations personnel on maintenance training related matters.
- Assists Manager, Tech Ops Training and department staff with the production of training related documents and training reports.
- Provides information to other departments and external entities regarding training related documents and training reports.
- Coordinate with Human Resources for New Hire Onboarding as it pertains to Tech Ops.
- Conduct FAA Airmen Certification validation for Tech Ops employees.
- Coordinate all logistical requirements related to Tech Ops training events to include meeting rooms and equipment as needed.
- Coordinates with API and Endeavor Air Program Hotel Administrator on new contracts for hotels.
- Additional responsibilities for the position as may be defined in approved or accepted Company manuals.

- High School Diploma/GED equivalent or Associates Degree (preferred).
- 2-4 years of office management experience.
- Some airline operations experience preferred.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills to meet deadlines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and abilities.
- Proficient in: MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and general internet applications.
- Strong ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively to meet given time parameters
- Strong work ethic, reliable, self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Ability to adapt to rapid changes in performance of essential job functions.
- Computer work, in a typical office environment.
- Some repetitive motion such as typing and position requires some physical exertion such as pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking and light lifting of boxes, bags, files, etc. not in excess of 30 lbs.
- Can involve long periods of sitting.
