Job Description:
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is looking for an experienced Technical Product Manager to design, plan, develop and manage a portfolio of high performance fabric ASICs. Currently these ASICs target HPE products in Supercomputing, HPC and AI applications throughout the solution portfolio lifecycle: from new product definition or enhancements to existing products; planning, design, forecasting, and production; to end of life. We are looking to expand their use to other areas in and outside of HPE.
You will be part of a larger Product Management team responsible for the Slingshot portfolio, and will be expected to drive and represent the ASIC and associated low level software components in the overall solution. The capabilities of these products are growing tremendously, and we want you to be part of leading that effort.
This position can be filled anywhere in the United States.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and drive the end to end strategy and operational product roadmap for the High Performance Fabric ASICs and associated software that are part of the HPE Slingshot portfolio.
- Define the value proposition, target customer segments, and business case to bring one or more innovative and disruptive ASICs to market with respect to the whole company product portfolio (i.e. Product configuration mix, Revenue/Margins, financials, market share).
- Synthesize market requirements (MRD) into marketing/customer details through having intimate customer knowledge and business, financial and industry market acumen.
- Advise key stakeholders on the portfolio strategy across all phases of the lifecycle (e.g., planning, development, launch, management, exit).
- Create and drive goal alignment and collaborates across the ASIC value chain partners to optimize margins and enable success of products per plans across the product lifecycle. (ie. Engineering: product development, Supply Chain: SKUs, inventory and Marketing: marketing and pricing strategies and Go to Market Plan)
Experience and Skills:
- Deep knowledge of the high end switching and NIC ASIC market & solutions
- Proven track record of successful technical product management and/or development
- Experience opening new opportunities for tech products is a plus

If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. Annual Salary: $113,000.00 - $259,500.00
