Technical Product Marketing Director (hybrid 3-5 days to start/Boston)

Our SaaS client is seeking a talented Technical Product Marketing Director to join their team in this newly created position. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the full scope of a Technical Product Marketing position and is excited by analytic-driven products. This is not a sales-focused marketing position. You will play a critical role in effectively communicating their product to the market. You will design and implement a comprehensive technical product marketing strategy from the ground up. Through whitepapers, articles, and conferences, you will highlight their product capabilities and organizational value. You will help differentiate their products and services from competitors through materials, media, and events. This position reports directly to and collaborates closely with the Founder and CEO. What You Will Work On

• Develop a deep understanding of their products/services, their technical aspects, and their applications in the market.
• Create compelling technical marketing content that clearly and effectively communicates their value proposition, benefits, and features to customers, including use cases, datasheets, whitepapers, technical blogs, articles, webinars, etc.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to plan and execute successful product launches, including positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including product management, customer implementation, and data science teams, to translate their offerings and capabilities into materials for current and prospective customers.
• Plan, organize, and create workshops/forums to bring together our clients to discuss best practices, emerging trends, lessons learned, etc.

What We Are Ideally Looking For

• An exceptional academic record with graduate work (MA/PhD) in Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience delivering product marketing solutions or related expertise for successful analytically driven products
• Proven experience in technical marketing or a similar role with SaaS products/solutions
• Strong technical background with the ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts effectively.
• Demonstrated success in developing technical content
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex ideas and technical concepts into clear and compelling customer-facing materials
• Strong speaking skills and willingness to engage with senior company leaders of major multinationals
• Strong analytical skills are a plus
• Self-motivated and comfortable with a fast-paced startup environment
