About the Job
Position Summary: The Technical Production Assistant is responsible for technology related functions in Premier's Production Departments, such as, overseeing asset tags, creating work instructions, and providing technical support for “day 1” projects.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Build custom labels/tags for variety of projects, including high-volume projects
- Knowledgeable user of asset labeling software to assist with questions and troubleshoot software
- Create and maintain database for asset labels for production
- Planning and printing all preprinted asset tags for production
- Setting up printers, scanners, computers, work benches and carts for production
- Completing first article units and asset tags for new projects
- Building images on devices for production use
- Completing production on DOA replacement units
- Assisting with creating and updating work instructions and training Leads on new processes
- Assisting in a technical capacity on production line
Skills and Specifications Required:
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Experience using asset tag creation software
- Familiar with SQL code
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Working knowledge of computer desktops, laptops, chrome books and printers
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word
- A background in IT is a plus
Physical Requirements, with or without accommodation:
- Stand for up to 10 hours
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Push, pull and bend
- Work in a non climate-controlled environment
