Technical Program Manager
Hybrid: 3 days on site, Greater Boston Area
6 Months Contract to Hire
Pay: $55-$60 p/hr
Job Description:
We are looking for a seasoned Technical Program Manager with extensive experience in the banking industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking, a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects efficiently, and the ability to communicate effectively and work well with vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Partner with the PMO to lead the delivery of payments projects, focusing on Zelle and ACH integration and enhancements.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project execution.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to provide project updates and address any issues or concerns.
- Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external vendors to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time.
- Agile and Waterfall Methodologies: Utilize both Agile and Waterfall methodologies to manage project workflows and deliverables.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with banking regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to achieve project objectives.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the payments industry, with a focus on Zelle and ACH.
- Banking Expertise: Strong background in banking and financial services, with a deep understanding of payments processes and regulations.
- Project Management: Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Vendor Management: Experience working with and managing vendors to achieve project goals.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Methodologies: Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. PMP or similar certification is a plus.
