Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Technical Program Manager for a position supporting a defense contractor
This position is hybrid, requiring at least 1 day per week onsite in Chantilly, VA
The individual will oversee software delivery and operations for high-profile client projects.
Responsibilities of the Technical PM:
Manage client projects to ensure timely, budget-compliant delivery that meets established requirements.
Lead SDLC phases, including requirements development and quality assurance, and participate in change board meetings.
Research system upgrades to assess feasibility, cost, time, and compatibility with existing systems.
Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and contractors to deliver high-quality software and services.
Develop and update system documentation, including requirements, design, and risk management, and document system issues and resolutions.
Necessary Qualifications for the Technical PM:
10+ years leading complex software development, delivery, and operations.
3+ years experience as a software developer.
Proficiency in leading both Agile and traditional SDLCs.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Certification: PMP and SCRUM Master are desired.
Compensation for the Technical PM:
Salary: $125,000-$150,000 (dependent on experience)
