Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience with software systems deployment.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience working across a distributed, and highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members.
- Experience launching NPI products in the Compute, Networking, and Infrastructure areas.
- Experience in launching Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence products from research to production.
- Ability to identify organizational needs, establish priorities, work independently, drive results through informal authority, serve as a trusted consultant to key business partners, and represent users and customers.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering knowledge. You'll plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project life-cycle. You will also manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes, and driving the technical directions of programs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for release schedules and milestones, keeping up a high velocity in a fast-paced environment.
- Prioritize program goals, understand and translate other stakeholders’ needs into program goals and prioritized deliverables, and contribute to decisions on prioritizing goals and deliverables.
- Identify, communicate, and collaborate with stakeholders within one or more teams to drive impact and work toward mutual goals.
- Lead several technical programs for the Google Cloud Business, managing associated financial and human resources, quality of software development and features, risks, schedules, communication plans, and deliverables.
- Initiate new software development programs, identify and deliver software features that drive performance, scale, functionality, security, quality, and efficiency, based on prioritized needs.
