Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to assist in the execution of our Model Migration Program. The successful candidate will work closely with the Lead Technical Program Manager (TPM) to track progress, collect updates, and report potential risks and blockers. This is a 6-month contract position with opportunities to collaborate with engineering teams across the company.
Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day execution of the model migration program.
- Gather status updates from team members, including model progress, ETAs, risks, blockers, and reasons for delays.
- Accompany the TPM in meetings, taking notes, tracking action items, and updating spreadsheets as necessary.
- Populate and maintain up-to-date information in spreadsheets to ensure accurate tracking of migration progress.
- Work closely with the lead TPM to gather information, follow up with engineers, and report detailed updates.
- Schedule ad-hoc meetings as needed to address specific model migration follow-ups.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams (XFN) and the central privacy group to identify and resolve blockers.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate status updates and project risks.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with project management tools and techniques is a plus.
- Previous project management experience and proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with engineers and understanding technical challenges.
- Familiarity with machine learning model management and migration processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and engineers.
