Job Summary:
The Technical Project Manager role is responsible to gather, evaluate and prioritize project data necessary and work with appropriate teams to develop and implement project plan for assigned technical projects. This role will provide coordination between customers and all areas of Visory for assigned technical projects to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue goals are met. This role requires the use of qualitative and quantitative analysis to support project planning and execution throughout the project lifecycle. This role will work closely as cross-functional support for engineering, sales, marketing, operations, legal, and finance. This role will work on any other initiatives and ongoing projects as assigned, in addition to any other duties the Company may assign.

Job Summary:
The Technical Project Manager role is responsible to gather, evaluate and prioritize project data necessary and work with appropriate teams to develop and implement project plan for assigned technical projects. This role will provide coordination between customers and all areas of Visory for assigned technical projects to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue goals are met. This role requires the use of qualitative and quantitative analysis to support project planning and execution throughout the project lifecycle. This role will work closely as cross-functional support for engineering, sales, marketing, operations, legal, and finance. This role will work on any other initiatives and ongoing projects as assigned, in addition to any other duties the Company may assign.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Working across teams to map the entire environment, including dependencies, services, applications, and physical and virtual server configurations. Capture everything including shadow IT implementations and third-party resources that could complicate migration if not properly considered.
- Facilitate technical collaboration to identify client applications, databases, storage, and physical and virtual servers.
- Compile SLAs, dependencies, user needs and compliance and security requirements.
- Prepare contingency and roll-back plans to answer worst-case
scenarios. - Schedule pilot migrations in a non-production environment and address any issues that arise during the pilot. From this dry run, develop a runbook that documents the process for going live.
- Coordinate the cutover window with the business. Facilitate pre implementation check lists, Go/No Go meetings as well as communication plans during and after the migration.
- Coordinate after action retrospectives, pep-talks and process improvements
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
- Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
- Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
- Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
- Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
- Analyze risks and opportunities
- Oversee project procurement management
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
- Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
- Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
- Perform other duties as required
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Manager, or similar role
- Experience in project management, from conception to delivery
- An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
- Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
- Strong working knowledge of Project Management processes and tools
Education and Experience:
- 3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- IT related industry support and analysis experience
