About the Job
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and driving the delivery of projects that provide exceptional business value to users. This role will organize project activities, identify risks, and effectively communicate both internally and externally. This role works hand and hand with upper management to provide guidance on the scope and direction, ensuring projects are on schedule, and collaborate with other departments for support.
Responsibilities:- Lead and manage projects from conception through completion to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.
- Track project against plan, anticipate events which may require contingency plans, recommend corrective action, and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed.
- Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
- Determine resource involvement needed to complete the project and allocate resources as needed.
- Translate the high-level organizational objectives into definable project scopes while focusing on regular and timely delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
- Evaluate technical feasibility alongside user experience, making informed decisions to drive successful outcomes.
- Contribute to Controls roadmap and product backlog grooming.
- Define and manage the project management processes, implement best practices, and champion ongoing process improvement.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing, including conveying technical information to technical and non-technical users.
- Participate in various Controls release efforts including release note and release demo presentation.
- Maintain documentation on knowledge base, project management processes and best practices, providing regular updates on project progress.

- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology (IT), Business Management, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- Master’s degree a plus.
- 5+ years of experience managing projects using formal project management disciplines and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and processes.
- Experienced in Agile project management methodologies and tools (agile, scrum, Kanban, waterfall, DevOps, Jira, Confluence)
- Experience managing projects involving both software and hardware in cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Atlassian product (Jira, Confluence) required.
- CSM or A-CSM certification is a plus.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
