As a Technical Project Manager, you'll be at the forefront of mission-critical initiatives, ensuring projects are executed seamlessly, on time, within scope, and on budget. You'll be the glue that connects technical teams and stakeholders, translating complex requirements into actionable plans, solving challenges, and optimizing outcomes.
Preference for local candidates to work out of our Wakefield, MA office 3 days/week.
Here's what you'll do:
- Lead high-impact projects: From initiation to completion, you'll manage technical projects that align with client needs and organizational goals.
- Collaborate and communicate: Work closely with internal teams and external clients to translate technical requirements into actionable plans, ensuring clear communication at every step.
- Problem-solve and optimize: Provide guidance throughout the project lifecycle, overcoming challenges and finding innovative solutions to drive project success.
- Be the client's go-to: Act as the primary contact for clients, delivering project updates, managing risks, and ensuring satisfaction with deliverables.
- Resource management: Partner with leadership to allocate resources effectively, ensuring teams are set up for success across multiple projects.
- Drive efficiency: Maintain detailed project documentation, contribute to process improvements, and help develop dashboards to track KPIs and outcomes.
As our next Technical Project Manager, you will bring:
- 5+ years managing technical projects in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- 3-5 years in software development, with a solid grasp of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). PMP certification preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in analyzing project performance and creating insightful reports for executive leadership.
- Experience with Wrike, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Azure, Jira, and commonly used SaaS platforms.
The target hiring range for this role is $85,000-$105,000 USD (annually). The starting base salary will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other job-related factors.
