Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and expertise to the external sales team and customers
- Develop detailed technical proposals and quotes for rotating equipment solutions
- Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate products and solutions
- Collaborate with external sales teams to ensure accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries
- Stay updated on the latest trends in rotating equipment technology and market dynamics
- Assist in product selection, sizing, and configuration to meet customer specifications
- Work closely with engineering and manufacturing departments to ensure product feasibility and delivery
Qualifications:
- Strong technical background in rotating equipment, allowing you to engage effectively with clients and engineers on complex technical discussions
- In-depth knowledge of rotating equipment products, applications, and performance characteristics
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and customer requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address customer challenges and provide innovative solutions
- Ability to discuss highly technical concepts with all audiences, ranging from non-technical to executive-level decision makers
- Proficiency in using technical software tools for equipment selection and performance calculations
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes (such as API, ASME, and ISO) to ensure compliance in product recommendations
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a four-year college or technical school
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) license
- Professional Engineering (PE) license
