Technical Sales Engineer - Thermal Energy Storage - MRINetwork Jobs

We are partnered with a leading Thermal Energy Storage provider that is helping commercial and industrial customers save energy while giving utilities a dispatchable peak-shaving asset.

The Technical Sales Engineer will support the sale of these systems with a strong focus on supporting utility projects and programs. Working with the Sales Manager, this person will address technical questions from customers about HVAC and Thermal Energy Storage system design requirements and help create technical and economic proposals for customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC products, system designs, and calculating energy savings from system upgrades.  This person will also be comfortable working directly with customers and helping to close large, complex transactions.

The ideal candidate must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent technical background.
• Knowledge of energy storage, utility power consumption, rooftop package systems, and mechanical design.
• Ability to calculate energy savings and create proposals
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Salary range:  $100K - $125K + bonus
