Avathon Government is looking for an innovative Technical Sales Lead to join our team. As a Technical Sales Lead you will be the technical subject matter expert (SME) for designing the machine learning solutions that leverage Avathon Government capabilities to help our customers create high impact outcomes. You will be the key link between the customer and engineering teams helping turn desires and needs into technical solutions, influencing roadmaps and driving innovation. This will require you to bring experience with machine learning, AI, and software development; strong people and customer engagement skills; and a desire to work in ambiguous environments to move requirements and use cases onto paper and into the hands of key customers.
You Will:
- Provide virtual and in-person product overview and demonstrations of AGS's software products and technical capabilities to potential customers and partners
- Support the sales process as an AI-focused technical author for competitive deals
- Work as a dedicated partner to execute winning account strategies and to provide ample amount of support to the right projects
- Be a technical voice in client sales call planning and preparation
- Lead technical solution strategy throughout the capture and proposal lifecycle
- Collaborate with team members across organization to design and implement product growth
You'll Have:
- 3+ years of experience in design/implementation/consulting experience of Machine Learning/AI/Deep Learning Solutions
- 3+ years' experience with AI/ML software development and solutions
- Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.)
- Strong, hands-on technical background with a consultative approach
- Deep understanding and exposure to Federal Government customers and technology applications
- Outstanding presentation skills
- Travel Required
- Ability to obtain a US security clearance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to develop experimental and analytic plans for modeling processes, use of strong baselines, ability to accurately determine cause and effect relationships.
