RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as an enthusiastic advocate for biotechnology products and services.
- Meet established goals, including key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage customer relationships in assigned territories, ensuring their needs are prioritized and addressed promptly.
- Deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations as necessary.
- Accurately forecast, track, and report on monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue streams.
- Identify new clients and markets that could benefit from our products or services to maximize customer engagement.
- Diligently maintain and update the CRM system with accurate information.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Engineering or a related scientific field is preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in customer-facing roles, specifically in instrumentation sales or a related industry.
- Technical aptitude to learn about our products, applications, and services effectively.
- Demonstrated success in cross-selling and proficiency in various sales activities, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Ability to influence decision-makers at all levels of an organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM systems.
- Strong customer focus: quick and accurate responses to customer inquiries are essential; able to effectively communicate solutions.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw accurate conclusions.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously; self-motivated to achieve goals.
- Excellent communication skills: ability to read and analyze documents, respond to customer inquiries or complaints, and present information effectively to team members and management.
- Must be able to handle and lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.) for field demonstrations.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet customer demands.
- A valid drivers license and an acceptable driving record are required for roles that involve vehicle use.
