SUMMARY:
Accelerate the profitable growth by working with current and prospective customers in support of the Tekni-Plex Healthcare Barrier Solutions division. Interfacing with customer manufacturing, quality, and development teams, you will identify, market, and deliver innovative, reliable solutions to current issues and future needs. Working with medical device manufacturing packaging and lidding processes, ensure successful product usage by our customers; and identify opportunities for product improvement. You will also support the R&D, Procurement, Quality, Sales, and Marketing teams through active project management, data development and analysis, and test data development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with customers to optimize the use of our products in their thermoforming and heat seal processes. Conduct field trials, customer training/visits, and follow-up lab testing.
- Work with internal customers (Quality, Procurement, Marketing, R&D) to advance their objectives. Conduct lab trials and testing to resolve quality issues, define product performance, and support sales and marketing needs.
- Develop and validate product line extensions, raw material equivalents, and plant processes.
- Identify new technical opportunities to ensure better customer and market relationships.
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of our products and applications, including performance interactions with our allied suppliers.
- Write detail-oriented and analytical technical reports summarizing internal and external work.
- Develop good relationships with customer and allied supplier personnel in addition to peers.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A four-year technical degree or equivalent, prefer chemistry or engineer, or five years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2+ years of post college experience is required
Experience working in regulated markets (pharmaceutical, medical, food) is a plus.
