Client Overview:
Our client is an established specialty chemical developer supporting quality personal and homecare product markets worldwide. They are looking to expand their team by bringing on a Technical Services Coordinator.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$50k – $55k
Position Overview:
Our client’s friendly and dynamic team seeks a Technical Services Coordinator to help coordinate customer order processing, shipment, order fulfillment, and other general customer support functions.
Responsibilities of the Technical Services Coordinator:
- Perform customer sales order receipt and processing.
- Enter correct sales order information including quantity, pricing, delivery/transportation methods, routing details, portal entry, etc. in the database.
- Prepare invoices for shipments and send shipping documents to customers promptly.
- Process credit card payments.
- Respond to general inquiries from management, customers, and sales representatives relating to orders, products, literature, shipping and delivery, pricing, availability, packaging, and ETAs.
- Work closely with Sales Representatives to be proactive in meeting customer needs and keeping them informed of all activities associated with their accounts.
- Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Accounting to ensure seamless execution of on-time order fulfillment.
- Adhere to departmental service level agreements and respond to customers within 24 hours.
- Recommend additional sales to customers to meet minimum orders or identify opportunities to offer alternate sizes when applicable.
- Provide updates to customers, shipping, and sales on packaging requirements, shipment dates, production schedules, and delivery dates.
- Prepare and run KPI reports and perform special projects as requested. Assist in responding to customer complaints as per internal CAPA policy and procedures.
- Assist in quarterly and annual audits.
Qualifications for the Technical Services Coordinator:
- Order processing & fulfillment, shipping, customer support, and related experience are highly preferred.
- Database management experience and good computer skills.
- Ability to work efficiently with different functional groups.
Education Requirements:
- A minimum of a High school diploma/GED is required.
