About the Job
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technical Service Manager to lead a diverse team of onsite and remote professionals, ensuring the seamless execution of multiple projects simultaneously. This role requires a strong foundation in both technical expertise and leadership, particularly in areas related to gearbox and electrical motor design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of technical professionals, including both onsite and remote team members.
- Oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of gearing and gearbox design, as well as electrical motor design and fabrication, with a focus on components such as baseplates, bell housings, and swing bases.
- Utilize Kissoft software for technical processes and manage design and documentation using Siemens Teamcenter and Siemens NX.
- Provide guidance and support for industrial applications, aiding both the team and production in resolving questions related to gearbox design and assembly.
- Communicate effectively across multiple time zones and cultures, building strong relationships with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Deliver clear, effective customer support as needed.
- Travel to customer sites as required to provide technical expertise and support.
- Utilize Oracle operating software; familiarity with this platform is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; advanced technical training preferred.
- Proven experience in managing a technical team with both onsite and remote members.
- Strong technical background in gearbox and motor design, with hands-on knowledge of Kissoft, Siemens Teamcenter, and Siemens NX software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
- Working knowledge of Oracle software is an advantage.
Preferred Skills:
- Industrial application experience.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
