Technical Support Representative at AKKODIS

Akkodis is seeking a Technical Support Representative for a Contract job with a client in Plano, TX. Provide technical support by troubleshooting and resolving user-reported issues across multiple devices and platforms.

 

Rate Range: $24/hour to $28/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Technical Support Representative job responsibilities include:

• Responding to and resolving technical issues reported by users via phone, email, or in person.

• Troubleshooting hardware and software problems on desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.

• Providing user assistance by offering guidance on software usage, troubleshooting common errors, and delivering training and self-service tips.

• Maintaining documentation for IT procedures, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles to assist both users and colleagues.

• Sharing knowledge with team members and users to empower them to resolve common IT issues independently.

• Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve technical skills and offer innovative solutions.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification; bachelor’s degree preferred.

• 5+ years of experience as an IT professional, with at least 2 years using Google Suite.

• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or Google IT Support Professional Certificate are advantageous.

• Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software on various operating systems (e.g., Windows 10, Windows 11, MacOS).

Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
