Technical Support Specialist
Hours: (M-TH) 7am-4pm and (F) 7am-2pm, rotating on call schedule
Location: Onsite in Greenwood, IN
Rate: $50K/year
This position will work under the IT Manager and will primarily be responsible for:
- Providing level one technical support for field and office staff
- Assisting with the imaging and deployment of new devices and software
- Diagnosing and repairing minor equipment issues
- Coordinating and scheduling service repairs for equipment
- Maintaining and tracking accurate inventory of IT and dental equipment
- Creating and updating IT process and procedure documentation as needed
- Monitoring EDR for security alerts
- Assisting with larger IT projects and initiatives as needed
Technical Support Specialist Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- ITIL Certification (preferred)
Technical Support Specialist ideal candidate will possess skills in:
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff
- Must be able to troubleshoot with field staff remotely
- Experience with Intune or other MDM (preferred)
- Experience in a healthcare/dental setting (preferred)
